ABOUT US

The Potchefstroom Herald is the only sold weekly newspaper in Potchefstroom and is also available in Ventersdorp. It appears on Thursdays although it has a Friday dateline. It's bilingual paper. More than 9 000 copies are sold each week reaching more than 36 000 readers. It's an award winning paper winning the Hultzer Trophy for best newspaper in a certain circulation group more than once. The letter pages and usage of the sms-line shows a huge participation of readers with the newspaper. Due to that it's a very popular newspaper among advertisers.
