We would like to have an opportunity to respond to the comments that were made on the SMS-page.

  We have been operating in Potchefstroom for the past two and a half years and during this time we as the owners of Ocean Basket have strived to deliver the best service, highest standards in food quality with the best value for money in town.  We aim to attend to all our patrons needs to the best of our ability.  We as a restaurant have to cater for all our clients.

  When the store was designed a designated area was allocated for smokers. That specific area was the veranda.  We have also extended the restaurant with an extra 150 seat fully air-conditioned with air curtains for the convenience of our customers.

  We as a rule have all our windows closed because of the air- conditioning during lunch and dinner.  Unfortunately it does happen that a customer sitting inside the store could open a window without our consent.  if we are informed or otherwise it is brought to our attention we attend the matter immediately.

  Furthermore we would like to whether the complainant has personally experienced any problem at our store due to the fact that the majority of restaurants and coffee shops in Potchefstroom are more or less operating the same way.
